Dear Superior Times Readers, Advertisers and Distributors,

First of all, I want to send warm greetings to all of you, along with an update. Due to the many changes in our staff and the current economic times, we have made the difficult choice to discontinue the publication of our printed newspaper and change to an online version of  "The Superior Times".  Unlike our current government, we realized it wasn't wise to spend ourselves into oblivion.  I'm sure you can all appreciate and understand that concept. Our new format will be somewhat different, but we think you will be pleased to see the content, wonderful photos and many links which will enable us to continue to
"Connect the People and Places of the Great North" in an even more efficient manner. Our wonderful writers will continue with their fun, entertaining, uplifting and informative stories.

By going online we will have an unlimited reach for all involved and distribution won't be an issue.  We will be offering very "reasonable" online advertising opportunities for those interested. Our online version with the Regional Events Calendar is a most valuable tool and will bring readers back to our website over and over.  It's "one stop browsing"  to view a consolidated events calendar with numerous links.  You can go right to the sourc
e for updates, changes and phone numbers. This is a most convenient and practical way to stay informed of the events going on in our Great North Country.  We anticipate visitors and tourists alike will find this feature extremely helpful when planning vacations and trips to our area. We will request a link back to our website from those whom we are promoting.

Personally, I love the printed page and this was a very tough decision.  We are considering a newspaper or magazine style publication for the future, such as an annual issue of "the best" of our stories and articles.  We'll inform you of the details via email when the time comes.  Please don't worry, we won't blast your mail with lots of junk and at anytime, you can opt out with a quick note to us.  We believe in "The Golden Rule."

As for now, my staff and I feel our paper is just too special to let go.  I believe most of you would agree. We will continue to bring this very special publication into your homes and businesses at your request. The new issues will be posted online (bi-monthly) as we did with our past printed issues.  The
Home page, front page of the Current IssueRegional Events Calendar and our loyal advertisers pages will be free and accessible to everyone.  For those of you wanting more, we will be offering subscriptions online for just $7.00 a year, beginning soon.

Thank you for your patience while we are under construction. We look forward to hearing from you. After all, you are why we're here! Again, thank you all so much for your support and encouragement.....it means a great deal to all of us.

We hope you enjoy our new home online. We think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
